The coordinator facilitates the effective delivery of nunavut’s education program by ensuring staff are trained on relevant programs, initiatives, policies, and curriculum updates. This involves working closely with various departmental units to ensure training reflects intended knowledge and is implemented as designed, such as supporting new curriculum introductions.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in education or a related field, three years of experience as an educator (Nunavut-Based preferred), and three years of project work experience at the regional/Territorial level. Experience facilitating workshops for educators is also necessary.
