Speaker

The speaker is responsible for chairing and conducting students' council meetings strictly following robert’s rules of order and standing orders, while ensuring administrative and logistical needs are met. Duties also include facilitating member participation, assisting with conflict resolution, and serving as a resource to council members.

Candidates must be available to attend all students' council meetings and respond to inquiries promptly, possessing excellent organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with parliamentary procedure, conflict resolution, and experience handling confidential materials are considered assets.
