The volunteer will lead weekly english conversation circle or english basics sessions in a supportive and culturally aware manner, facilitating discussions on everyday topics to help newcomers build vocabulary and confidence. Key duties include planning simple discussion themes, fostering an inclusive environment, tracking attendance, and communicating updates to the volunteer coordinator.
No formal education or experience is required, only a willingness to learn and make a difference, though comfort in facilitating sessions and proficiency in english (Speaking, listening, reading, writing) are necessary. A satisfactory police record check with vulnerable sector is mandatory for this volunteer position.
