Candidates need 1-3 years of experience working with children and familiarity with the child care early years act and licensing standards. Required certifications include a clear police vulnerable sector check, standard first aid, and cpr level c, alongside being registered or pursuing registration as an early childhood educator or holding an eligible alternative designation.
