The occupational therapist is responsible for developing programs that allow individuals, including children with autism spectrum disorder, to fully participate in daily life activities. Key duties involve assessing client needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and consulting on applied behaviour analysis programs.
Successful candidates must possess at least one year of experience working with children with asd and hold a master’s degree in occupational therapy, along with familiarity with various assessment tools.
