This role provides comprehensive assistance to the research community navigating the research ethics review and oversight process, ensuring applications are complete and compliant before board review. The coordinator also supports the research ethics board (Reb) by helping determine if studies meet necessary regulatory requirements.
Candidates need a bachelor's degree in health or social sciences along with three years of related experience in a highly regulated administrative setting like research ethics or clinical research. Essential qualifications include knowledge of research administration and ethics frameworks, strong organizational abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
