One to One Counsellor CK

The counsellor will provide direct support to children with special needs, managing behavioral incidents and implementing redirection strategies while communicating regularly with camper families. Responsibilities also include developing program inclusion strategies and acting as a resource to day camp staff regarding inclusive programming.

Candidates must have experience working with children in a day camp setting and possess a current emergency first aid certification or higher. A current criminal record check is required, along with a dedication to demonstrating the ymca core values.
