Instructor & Lab Instructors-Dental Hygiene-Continuing Education Contract (ANES-262 Local Anesthesia)

Check links and content prior to the start of the course, update resources as needed, communicate with students regularly, mark assignments, monitor student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, manage and review exam submissions as required, finalize official grades.. Create an outline for the day, submit packing list(S) to the lab, prepare the room and supplies prior to the start time and cleanup afterwards, teach and demonstrate related skills, provide scenarios and answer student’s questions, complete performance skill testing as required, submit any required paperwork to regulatory bodies and continuing education.

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current license to practice dental hygiene in saskatchewan.
• Undergraduate course in local anesthesia or graduate of a local anesthesia module.
• Minimum of two years recent and relevant dental hygienist experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local anesthesia principles and techniques.
• Recent experience teaching or performing local anesthesia skills.
• Ability to apply adult education principles.
• Strong computer skills.
