The correctional programmer will identify, assess, and respond to the needs of individuals in custody by developing, delivering, and evaluating evidence-Based programs and services to improve outcomes. This involves daily interaction with individuals in custody, collaborating with the case management team, and working with community partners to facilitate culturally responsive programming and support community reintegration.
Candidates must possess a university degree, preferably in education or social sciences, along with experience teaching at-Risk populations in a formalized educational setting. Desired experience includes working in correctional settings, transition planning, and knowledge of community education and employment supports.
