As a correctional officer, you are responsible for the safe custody, control, and supervision of persons in custody in an adult correctional facility. This includes conducting counts and searches, writing reports, and ensuring the security and safety of persons in custody.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in law enforcement, security, or previous employment as a correctional officer is considered an asset.
