The role involves engaging residents at their doorsteps to provide education and materials regarding proper waste sorting, including food scraps and recycling, as part of the city's zero-Waste strategy. Educators will also record statistical information using data mapping software and provide feedback on educational direction.
Candidates must have completed the first year of a recognized recreation administration or related diploma/Degree program and possess one year of direct experience leading recreational, cultural, or related educational programs. A valid alberta class 5 driver's license and successful completion of a criminal records check are mandatory conditions of employment.
