The senior camp counsellor will lead a team of camp counsellors in delivering fun, inclusive, and educational day camps focused on animal care and welfare issues for children aged six to 14. Key duties include structuring camp days using approved materials, assigning responsibilities to staff, providing feedback, overseeing volunteers, ensuring safety, and communicating with parents.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid emergency first aid certificate, along with enthusiasm for working with children and animals. Essential qualities include excellent leadership, teamwork experience, strong organizational and verbal communication skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
