The nurse clinician provides consultation and clinical expertise for critical care patients presenting to emergency or admitted to critical care areas, utilizing evidence-Informed practice in accordance with bccnm standards. This role involves modeling direct care skills, performing complex nursing assessments, providing education to staff and families, and participating in research and quality improvement activities.
Applicants must possess current practicing registration as a registered nurse with the british columbia college of nurses and midwives (Bccnm) and have three years of recent related clinical experience, including one year in education and/Or leadership. Completion of postgraduate coursework and/Or applicable nursing certification is also required.
