Inclusion counsellors provide dedicated one-On-One support to campers with additional needs, ensuring they experience success in the camp program through tailored strategies and active participation, including swimming daily. Key duties also involve assisting in developing inclusive programming, managing behavioral incidents, and acting as a safety role model for all participants.
Candidates must be at least 17 years old by the end of 2026 and possess standard first aid and cpr c certification, along with some knowledge and experience related to inclusion and behavior management when working with children with additional needs. Applicants aged 18 and over must also successfully complete a criminal record check with a vulnerable sectors screening.
