Youth Sports & Recreation Coordinator (Summer Placement)

Volunteers will support local youth to design, organize, and lead recreation and sport activities, focusing on coordination, mentorship, and leadership development rather than direct program delivery. Key tasks include strengthening team sports, fitness activities, and inclusive recreation initiatives identified as local priorities.

Candidates must have experience or interest in sports, recreation, or youth coaching, coupled with cultural awareness and humility regarding indigenous peoples in canada. Essential requirements include a completed high school diploma, the ability to pass a vulnerable sector police check, and current residency in canada.
