Youth Sports & Recreation Coordinator (Summer Placement)

Volunteers will support local youth to design, organize, and lead recreation and sport activities, focusing on coordination, mentorship, and leadership development rather than direct program delivery. Key tasks include strengthening team sports, fitness activities, and inclusive recreation initiatives identified as priorities by the youth.

Applicants must have completed a high school diploma, be able to pass a vulnerable sector police check, and currently reside in canada. Essential background includes experience working with youth in sport or recreation settings, cultural awareness regarding indigenous peoples, and strong communication and facilitation skills.
