The certified diabetes educator will deliver diabetes public health and education to first nations communities, including monthly education sessions and quarterly screening clinics. They will also research diabetes trends, address service gaps, and develop educational materials.
Candidates must have a bscn degree and diabetes educator certification, along with three years of experience in community-Based service delivery. Additional qualifications include cpr certification, a valid ontario driver’s license, and the ability to travel regularly.
