Overview
Teach Grades 5-7 in a Multi-Age Cluster Class (MACC) program for students with giftedness in their learning profile. Work closely and collaboratively with the District Principal of Inclusive Education, school administration, school and district staff, teachers of other Multi-Age Cluster Classes, and parents. Deliver an interdisciplinary, conceptually advanced program to develop students' critical and creative thinking abilities using higher-level thinking models. Integrate reflection on individual learning style, social-emotional development, the nature of excellence, and group dynamics into the curriculum. Support students in defining personal interests and individual goals and demonstrating a personal work ethic. Implement the MACC 4 pillars model: numeracy, literacy, project-based learning, and autonomous learning. Develop and/or support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students. Implement effective and differentiated teaching practices to meet individual learner needs
