<p><strong>Coldwater School</strong></p><p><strong>Job Posting</strong></p><p><strong>Primary </strong><strong>Teacher</strong></p><p>The Coldwater School is inviting qualified applicants to apply for the position of Primary (K-2) Teacher.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in education</li><li>Valid BC teaching certificate required</li><li>Experience integrating technology into class lessons</li><li>Experience with First Nation schools is an asset</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing IEPs</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills</li><li>Knowledge of the BC curriculum and experience with Jump Math, Readwell, and Reading Mastery are an asset</li><li>Willing to continue to gain new knowledge and skills, be flexible, positive and a team player</li><li>First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain</li><li>Criminal Record Check</li></ul> <p><strong>Preference will be given to those applicants who: </strong></p><ul><li>have knowledge of Nle?kepmx language and Coldwater Community</li><li>have classroom teaching experience</li><li>have experience at the Primary levels</li><li>have experience with formative assessment practices is an asset</li><li>have additional professional experience and/or post-secondary courses in early years education, early learning and early literacy</li><li>have Aboriginal ancestry (as per Special Program with the BC Human Rights Tribunal)</li></ul> <p><strong>Wages:</strong></p><ul><li>Hourly Wage Range of $21.98 - $ 44.00. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in education.
