The Early Childhood Assistant supports the RECE in planning and implementing daily activities while ensuring a high-quality, safe environment for children. They are responsible for observing and caring for the individual needs of children and maintaining professional communication with parents and team members.

Up-to-date First Aid and CPR Up-to-date Immunization and 2 tiered TB test Confident and flexible in working with all age groups (Infants to School Age). Ability to manage children with challenging behaviours and communicate effectively with parents. Excellent teamwork skills
The primary responsibility of the Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) is to support the RECE in planning and implementing a program and daily activities Works cooperatively as a team member, encourages others to do likewise, and consistently maintains a positive attitude. Report any issues or concerns that may arise in accordance with proper procedures. Supports the direction and participate with children in all planned activities. Use well-developed interpersonal, and relationship-building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff, and parents. Maintains the cleanliness of the classroom
