The Registered Early Childhood Educator is responsible for leading a team in planning and implementing daily educational activities that incorporate the four foundations of learning. They must provide supervision for children, maintain positive relationships with families, and ensure the well-being and development of all children in the centre.

THE ORGANIZATION Centres for Early Learning (CFEL) includes a group of ten independently owned and operated Child Care Centres. Nine (9) throughout the City of Toronto and one (1) in Milton, Ontario. An ECE diploma from a recognized Ontario college Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educator Up-to-date First Aid and CPR Up-to-date Immunization and 2 tiered TB test
The primary responsibility is to co-ordinate and lead her/his team in planning and implementing a program and daily activities Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips, and special activities. Works cooperatively as a team member, encourages others to do likewise, and consistently maintains a positive attitude. Incorporate the four (4) foundations of learning – Belonging, Well-being, Engagement, Expression into daily programming to ensure optimal learning and healthy development of the children Communicate regularly with parents regarding development of children. Report any issues or concerns that may arise in accordance with proper procedures. Direct and participate with children in all planned activities. Use well-developed interpersonal, and relationship-building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff, and parents. Attend and contribute to staff meetings and in-house professional development whether during or after regular work hour
Flexibility between the hours of 7:00am – 6:00pm. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Eligibility to work in Canada.
