About the role

Provide exceptional educational experiences for students from age three to Grade 12 as a Teacher on Call. Implement inquiry-based and student-centred learning within a supportive community framework.

Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent JK to Grade 12 International Baccalaureate and Round Square day and boarding school located on two campuses in Victoria, BC, Canada. At GNS, we provide an exceptional educational experience for students from age three to Grade 12, emphasizing robust academics, healthy social and emotional development, and inquiry-based, student-centred learning within a supportive community. Guided by the IB framework, we foster creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning that prepares students for success in school and beyond.

We are seeking exceptional educators to join our TOC pool for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Successful applicants will have

  • a valid BC teaching certificate
  • experience teaching various subjects/grades
  • exceptional interpersonal skills to establish connections with students and colleagues
  • must be highly collegial and a collaborative team player
  • a strong aptitude in differentiated learning styles and a passion for educating the whole student
  • a strong knowledge of inquiry-based and project-based learning approaches
  • experience integrating technology in the classroom to transform learning
