  • Provide informal and formal assessments, including oral feedback, written reports, and participation in parents’ evenings as required.
  • Participate in performance management processes.
  • Communicate any incidents involving personal injury, serious illness, or damage to school property to the principal or department head.

Responsibilities

  • Outside of Teaching Duties:
  • Do not grant permission for students to leave school early, detain students after dismissal, or communicate student information except with the principal or department head.
  • At the close of the school day, ensure the classroom is left neat and secure, with all windows and doors locked, and submit a report on the day’s activities.
  • Ensure no student is left unsupervised during the day, and avoid using corporal punishment or touching students unnecessarily.
  • Respect confidentiality regarding students, teachers, administrators, and parents, and do not make negative comments about colleagues or students.

Other Requirements
