Deliver the EPSE 202.3 course on Psychological Foundations of Teaching and Learning to students on the Moosomin First Nation. Responsibilities include conducting live in-person lectures and managing course preparation and marking.
Requires a minimum of a Master's degree in Education or a related field, or equivalent professional teaching experience. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Indigenous ways of knowing and possess a valid driver's license.
Sessional Lecturer, EPSE 202, Educational Psychology and Special Education (ITEP – Moosomin FN) The Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education and the Indian Teacher Education Program (ITEP) in the College of Education, and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the following
Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Education or a related discipline and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to engaging with Indigenous ways of knowing and to fostering respectful, reciprocal learning environments. They must also possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture as well as indigenization and the decolonization of pedagogy to uplift and support Indigenous students.
A valid driver’s license is required for any off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
