Must have or be eligible for membership in the Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB).
Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or proof of application).
If certificate is conditional, provide TRB letter stating requirements to attain permanent certification status.
Knowledge of Ministry of Education redesigned curriculum and core competencies.
Evidence of appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching.
Proven ability with assessment as and for learning strategies.
Successful experience integrating local Indigenous culture and traditions into curriculum (First Nations Principles; Principles of Truth and Reconciliation).
Ability to use varied teaching/learning strategies for inclusive settings.
Successful experience integrating experiential and/or inquiry learning opportunities.
Training and successful experience in teaching and supporting social and emotional learning.
Proven ability to develop a positive learning environment with strong organization and classroom management.
Commitment to and successful experience working collaboratively in a team setting.
Demonstrated experience using and integrating technology into the curriculum.

Current valid driver’s license and willingness/ability to travel as required.

Jr. Indigenous Grad Coach (4 blocks)/CLE 10 (3 blocks) - Limited Duration Contract Teacher is required by School District No. 57 (Prince George). Applicants with assessment and trauma-informed practice experience are preferred.
