Develop, implement, and lead programs and activities for children.
Provide quality care by guiding, encouraging, and supervising children indoors and outdoors while ensuring safety and well-being.
Ensure operational policies are established and followed in accordance with the Provincial Child Care Licensing Board and Community Care Facility Act.
Plan, carry out, and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences aligned with the center’s philosophy.
Support children’s behavior guidance that encourages positive self-concept.
Stay up to date with early childhood education and advocacy developments.
Assist with housekeeping duties to keep facilities and equipment neat, safe, and clean/sanitized.
Perform other related duties as requested
Requirements summary
Early Childhood Educator certification with an infant and toddler specialization.
Possession of a valid Early Childhood Educator license or willingness to obtain.
Understanding of Lil’wat culture & language (asset).
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and as an integral member of various teams.
