- Graduate of an accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program.

- Knowledge of orthodontic dental assisting principles and techniques.
- Experience in teaching orthodontic assisting skills or performing orthodontic assisting in a clinical environment.
- Ability to apply adult education principles.
- Strong computer skills.

- Graduate of an accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program.
- Current License to practice Dental Assisting in Saskatchewan.
- Graduate of an Orthodontics Module.
- Min. 2 years recent and relevant (2 years within the last 5 years) dental assisting experience in a dental office.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current orthodontic dental assisting principles and techniques.
- Recent experience in teaching orthodontic assisting skills and/or a recent experience of performing orthodontic assisting skills in a clinical environment.
- Ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners with the required knowledge and skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience facilitating online courses.
- Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty.
