Position Summary

The course focuses on teaching about developing techniques of throwing clay forms on the potter’s wheel. It also explore ways the potter’s wheel is used in contemporary ceramics practices from functional through sculptural approaches. Position Requirements The successful candidate must possess an MFA in Ceramics or closely related visual arts field (BFA/equivalent for currently registered University/Graduate Teaching Fellows), or equivalent, with evidence of a contemporary Ceramics practice, and an active record of dissemination in Ceramics. University teaching experience is preferred. Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional
