The School of Nursing offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs across two campuses, including Health Care Assistant, Practical Nursing (Williams Lake only), Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Nursing, and Master of Nurse Practitioner programs. The School of Nursing, BScN program, invites applications for one (1) Limited Term Contract (LTC) for two (2) years commencing July 1, 2026. Successful candidates with an LTC two (2) year appointment will teach theory and practice courses and engage in service to the school, university, profession, and community.

Qualifications

  • PhD or other doctorate; consideration may be given to doctoral candidates who will complete their degree by the appointment date or shortly thereafter;
  • Master’s degree with current practice and teaching experience may be considered;
  • Holds a minimum of one (1) degree in nursing;
  • Five (5) years full time or equivalent hours nursing experience;
  • Evidence of continuous learning in your area of nursing;
  • Experience teaching theory and clinical practice;
  • An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system;
