Duties
The Department of Literatures, Languages, and Performing Arts at Thompson Rivers University requires a sessional instructor to teach one section of Acting Appreciation (THTR 1110) in Winter 2027. Instruction in THTR 1110 includes an examination of some basic aspects of acting including: stage movement, improvisation, and character development. This course is designed to develop the actor’s inner resources so they can begin to appreciate that acting, like other traditional art forms, demands a methodical approach for the development of a techniques that can then be applied in the presentation of a finished product.
Qualifications
M.F.A.(Theatre/ Performance) Required. All candidates should submit a current CV including names of 3 referees along with contact information.
