Job description
- Key Responsibilities
- Book, program and deliver private sessions and small group classes
- Proactively identify, attract, and retain member to consistently meet health goals
- Manage scheduling and organization of all sessions
- Accurately issue and redeem sessions at the end of each shift
- Attend quarterly team meetings and participate in departmental marketing initiatives
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment for all members and staff
- Respond to all member and internal communications within 24-hours
- Adhere to Cambridge Group of Clubs Best Practices and Guidelines
- Working Relationships
- Report directly to Pilates and Yoga Director
- Collaborate with Personal Training Department, Fitness consultant, Sports Medicine Clinic and Group Exercise Department to support client referrals and integrated care
Qualifications
- & Requirements
- Fully certified Pilates instructor (STOTT, Balanced Body, Power Pilates or equivalent) across all major apparatus, including Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel and Arc.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Valid CPR and first aid certification
- Excellent time management abilities
- Additional certifications or specialties, such as experience working with injuries and special populations, are considered an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through workshops and continuing education
