Master’s Degree Complete ($36.00/hour) - Paid to employees who have completed a master’s degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026) Undergraduate Degree Complete ($31.04/hour) Paid to employees who have completed a four-year honours degree or a three-year pass degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026) Third Year Complete ($22.91/hour) - Paid to employees who have completed the third year of an undergraduate honours degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026) Second Year Complete ($20.15/hour) Paid to employees who have completed the second year of an undergraduate degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026) First Year Complete ($19.00/hour) Paid to employees who have completed the first year of an undergraduate honours degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026) Duties Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement. The marker-grader is expected to mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams and must be prepared to provide written feedback to students that will clearly identify the basis of the grade assigned; whether it is due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission. The marker-grader may be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor. Qualifications 1. Minimum 3rd Year complete in the CHYS BA or CHYS BA/BEd program, or be entering and/or continuing in the CHYS MA or CHYS PhD program. 2. Must have previously completed CHYS 3P74 or equivalent*, and obtained 80% or higher. Previous successful experience as a MarkerGrader for CHYS 3P74 will be considered as equivalent. 3. Demonstrated successful experience in seminar administration for an on-line course, or as a marker-grader for an on-line course. 4. Must have effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students. Provide, if available, an evaluation of successful previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Marker-Grader. 5. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

For courses taken elsewhere provide a copy of your transcript, highlight the course and provide the course description. Failure to provide the required documentation to support the request for consideration of equivalency will result in an incomplete application.
