- Experience:</u></strong></p><ul><li>demonstrated qualification in school psychology, Master's degree in school/educational psychology</li><li>qualifications that meet the standard for membership in the British Columbia Association of School Psychologists</li><li>current member of BCASP</li><li>professional teaching certificate preferred</li><li>qualified to administer and interpret up to and including Level C Educational, Psychological, and Behavioural Tests </li><li>training in psychometric theory and principles </li><li>current knowledge of BC Ministry of Education, Special Education Policies and Procedures </li><li>experience working as a school psychologist in schools, Kindergarten to Grade 12</li><li>excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>demonstrated ability in consulting with teachers, parents, students and community agencies regarding the nature of students, strengths and needs, their educational implications, and ways to enhance learning and interpersonal relations </li><li>demonstrated ability in collaborating with school-based and/or district personnel to gather classroom-based data, design or implement instructional strategies, and design and implement behaviour management interventions </li><li>demonstrated ability in working with School Based Teams, multi-disciplinary teams and Community Care Teams </li><li>demonstrated ability to assist in the development of CBIEPs for referred students </li><li>demonstrated ability in planning and presenting in-service in the area of special education and, specifically in the area of assessment</li></ul> <p><strong>For Further Information Contact</strong><strong>:</strong> Salvina Sharp, District Principal; Jessica Adams-Loupret, District VP Student Services (604) 794-5553</p>
