Job description

<p>School District No. 59 (Peace River South) is inviting applications for one (1) position of Temporary Family School Liaison (35 hrs/wk, Monday to Friday) in Dawson Creek, BC effective immediately until June 26, 2026.<o:p></o:p></p><p>We are looking for a professional, self motivated individual with a degree in Social Work.<o:p></o:p></p><p>The successful candidate must have a clear Criminal Record Review, a class 5 driver's license and access to their own vehicle.<o:p></o:p></p><p>This position involves working with families to foster relationships between school and home, facilitate collaboration with outside agencies, work collaboratively with a school team and recognize potential crisis situations, analyze, and help develop strategies to deal with those situations.<o:p></o:p></p><p>If you have any questions, please contact Dianne Bassendowski, District Principal for Indigenous Education at 250-219-4913<o:p></o:p></p><p>Those interested should apply in writing, with two work related references including contact phone numbers, to the undersigned.<o:p></o:p></p><p>
