Implement behavioral programs designed by a clinical team to support skill acquisition and decrease maladaptive behaviors in children and youth. Provide 1:1 support including personal care tasks and maintain a safe, positive environment for clients.
As a Behaviour Interventionist (BI) at Monarch House your primary responsibility is implementing programs designed and supervised by a senior clinical team (of speech pathologists, by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst® BCBAs, Occupational therapists and physical therapists) to clients receiving services from Monarch House. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to support skill acquisition and/or decrease maladaptive behaviors while providing an engaging and positive client experience in a fast paced and frequently changing environment.
Evening sessions between 3PM-7PM is required.

Requires 1-2 years of experience with children with complex needs and a background in Psychology, Speech, or a related field. Must possess a valid driver's license, a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, and legal authorization to work in Canada.
