The coach will assist in training students for competitive debating and public speaking events while managing coaching sessions. Additionally, they will act as a chaperone for students during off-site tournaments to ensure safety and proper conduct.
Candidates must have previous competitive debating or public speaking experience at the provincial level or higher. A university degree or current enrollment in one is required, along with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, we are seeking part-time Debating and Public Speaking Coaches to work with our Debating Team. With strong communication skills and a proven ability to build a caring rapport with students, the successful candidate will report to the faculty Debating and Public Speaking Coaches.
The Debating and Public Speaking Coach’s involvement in the debating program will include participating in assisting with the coaching of members of the school’s debating and public speaking team and acting as a chaperone to off-site events and competitions.
Target Hiring Range: $50 Hourly
