Core responsibilities
The l.i.f.e. Counsellor facilitates and supports individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their learning, inclusion, friendship, and employment goals. Responsibilities include developing programs, providing coaching, maintaining client records, and assisting with community access and mobility.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a degree or diploma in community social services or equivalent experience, along with a certificate in employment counselling. A valid class 5 bc driver’s license, reliable vehicle with business insurance, and current first aid/Cpr certification are mandatory.
