Core responsibilities
- Provide speech & language services to students in schools.
- Complete assessments and screenings.
- Design and implement intervention strategies.
- Support students with communication disorders.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Work with educational assistants.
- Educate teachers and parents about communication development
Requirements summary
- Master's degree in speech-Language pathology.
- Eligible for certification with sac and membership with speech and hearing bc.
- Valid bc driver's license and own vehicle.
- Experience in a school setting and with first nations students (Asset).
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Criminal record check.
- Active registration with cshbc
