Land Based Healing Worker

The land based healing worker delivers traditional healing services to the community by facilitating land-Based activities and teaching cultural practices. They are responsible for maintaining sacred sites, harvesting traditional medicines, and supporting the mental health department through a two-Eyed seeing approach.

The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma, with a preference for candidates with experience in a mi'kmaw community. Applicants should possess knowledge of traditional ceremonies, land-Based healing techniques, and strong communication skills.
