Core responsibilities
The early learning assistant provides attentive supervision and delivers engaging, play-Based educational programming to support children's development. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe, clean environment and documenting child progress while adhering to ymca and provincial regulations.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a grade 12 diploma and have at least two years of experience working with children or youth. Additionally, a current standard first aid with infant and child cpr certification and a satisfactory police record check with vulnerable sector screening are required.
