Core responsibilities
The registered early childhood educator will provide safe, compassionate supervision and deliver engaging, play-Based educational programming to support child development. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean, safe environment and documenting children's progress while adhering to ymca policies and provincial legislation.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold an early childhood education diploma and be a member in good standing with the college of early childhood educators. A minimum of two years of experience working with children, current first aid/Cpr certification, and a satisfactory police record check with vulnerable sector screening are required.
