Core responsibilities
The early learning assistant will provide attentive supervision and deliver engaging, play-Based educational programming to support children's development. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe, clean environment and documenting child progress while adhering to ymca policies and provincial regulations.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a grade 12 diploma and have at least two years of experience working with children or youth. Essential certifications include current standard first aid and infant/Child cpr, along with a satisfactory police record check with vulnerable sector screening.
