Core responsibilities

The sel teacher is responsible for providing support to students and participating in individualized program planning with school staff and families. They will work within the inclusive education policy framework to maximize learning experiences and support student success.

Requirements summary

Candidates must hold a valid nova scotia teacher certification and a bachelor of education in elementary or secondary education. Experience in teaching social emotional learning and working with grades 6-8 is highly desired.
