Program instructors are responsible for facilitating classrooms of 10-20 students by creating engaging activities, providing homework and academic support, and facilitating academic, enrichment, and physical skill-Building activities based on student levels and educational standards. Duties also include maintaining accurate attendance records, reporting incidents promptly, and actively participating in all required training and meetings.
Candidates must possess an associate degree or higher, 48 college units, or pass the instructional aide exam, along with passing a criminal background check and tb test clearance. A commitment to working every day during after-School hours for the entire academic year is required, along with previous experience leading and supervising groups of up to 22 children.
