HONOURING OUR JOURNEY - Community Outreach Worker

The community outreach worker provides support and encouragement to adult participants in both group and individual settings while teaching basic life skills. They also support youth in cultural, recreational, and educational activities within the community.

Candidates must have a child and youth care diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with previous experience working with marginalized or exploited individuals. Knowledge and sensitivity towards indigenous cultures and traditions, as well as excellent documentation and team skills, are also required.
