The direct support worker will collaborate with families in their homes, taking the lead from them to achieve identified goals and supporting connections to community resources. Responsibilities also include assisting with personal care tasks like toilet training and hygiene routines for children, and supporting emotional and cultural development.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preference given to candidates with post-Secondary education in disability services or early childhood education. Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of experience working with children, a valid class 5 driver's license, and access to a vehicle.
