Human Resources Advisor

The human resources advisor provides expert guidance on comprehensive hr services, including recruitment, talent management, compensation, and labour relations, to academic and administrative staff within the mcgill library system. This role supports managers in aligning hr practices with library priorities, edi commitments, and established best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.

Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in human resources, industrial relations, or a related field, along with three years of related experience, preferably in a complex, unionized university environment. Required qualifications include crha designation (Or eligibility), strong knowledge of hr policies and collective agreements, and advanced english proficiency, with intermediate to advanced french also required.
