Core responsibilities
The facilitator will develop and lead engaging, trauma-Informed youth programs, including recreational activities and social-Emotional learning initiatives for youth aged 12-18. Responsibilities also include providing one-To-One support, modeling positive behavior, monitoring well-Being, and completing necessary documentation and database entry.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a diploma or degree in child & youth care, social work, or a related human services field, along with required certifications like nvci, asist, and first aid. Experience working with youth in a crisis setting is an asset, and specialized knowledge in child development and trauma-Informed care is valued.
