Academic Advisor, Psychology (Part Time)

The academic advisor reports to the chair of psychology and is primarily responsible for advising psychology majors across all streams and levels regarding program requirements and monitoring academic progress for undergraduate programs, including transfer and international students. Key duties involve managing advising appointments, maintaining student records, informing students about academic regulations, and making referrals for at-Risk students.

Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with experience in academic advising within a post-Secondary setting. Essential skills include knowledge of advising models, academic regulations, strong communication abilities, and proficiency with standard computer software.
