School Psychologist (195)(Early Hire)

The school psychologist will deliver psycho-Educational and diagnostic services, focusing on assessments and supporting the inclusion of students with complex academic, behavioral, social-Emotional, and mental health needs across grades p-12. This role involves facilitating professional development and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on student mental health projects and liaison with external agencies.

Candidates must possess a master's in school psychology and a valid nova scotia driver’s license, though equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Key requirements include participation on school teams, application of inclusion and mtss structures, knowledge of evidence-Based practices, and strong skills in teamwork, communication, and decision-Making.
